Sevastova falls in quarters

DALLAS, USA– Anastasija Sevastova’s run at the Texas Tennis Open was ended on Thursday, falling to Romanian Irina-Camelia Begu 3-6 4-6 in the tournament quarterfinals. Similar to her round of 16 appearance, Sevastova was once more let down by her serving, producing five double faults and no aces whilst only managing to win 48% of points on her first serve. Despite having her own problems on serve, Begu was still able to produce seven aces and only allow herself to be broken on three occasions compared to the five times that Sevastova was broken....
