ROLAND GARROS, France – Kai Kanepi’s third round loss at the French Open has ended the presence of Baltic players in the singles draws. Playing against Ekaterina Makarova of Russia in her third match, the 16th seeded Estonian saw her run come to an end, falling in straight sets 4-6 5-7. Kanepi produced similar serving statistics to her opponent but the telling factor was the 49 unforced errors made by the Estonian – 20 less than Makarova.
