‘Genocide,’ or an ignored catastrophic demographic situation

It was quite ironic that two self-contradicting discussions were held in Latvia’s Parliament at the same time. One discussion was about the deteriorating demographic situation in Latvia. The other was about the restriction on maternity, paternity and parental benefits offered to families.
