Latvia break five game losing streak

INNSBRUCK, Austria – The Latvian men's hockey team have broken a five game losing streak, defeating Austria in an ice hockey friendly on Thursday evening. Playing in front of small crowd of 700, Latvia exacted revenge from a 5-4 overtime loss an evening previous, coming back to win the second game which also went to overtime 3-2. The win ends a five game losing streak in which Latvia has lost double headers against Sweden, Finland and Austria and finally gives the squad some much needed confidence looking ahead to the International Ice Hockey Feder...
