INDIAN WELLS, USA – Lithuanian Richard Berankis has taken advantage of his wildcard entry to the BNP Paribas Open, overcoming a slow start to move into the second round. Missing out on direct entry to the tournament, Berankis made the most of the wildcard entry extended to him by tournament organizers, defeating American qualifier Alex Bogomolov Jr. in three sets; 1-6 6-3 6-4.
