PARIS, France– Lithuanian Austra Skuyte has taken the Baltic’s only medal at the European Athletics Indoor Championships, claiming silver in the women’s heptathlon. After claiming silver in the same event at 2004 Olympics Skuyte more recently gave up participating in heptathlon to focus mainly on shot put.
