Betting scandal overshadows football friendlies

RIGA - Following a week of international football friendlies, two games involving Baltic sides are being probed by the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA). On Feb. 9, Latvia and Estonia both participated in international friendly matches in the Turkish resort town of Antalya, playing Bolivia and Bulgaria, respectively, with both games ending in bizarre circumstances.In the first game of the day Latvia took on Bolivia, winning 2-1.
