The celebration of the 20th anniversary of the restoration of the independence of Latvia on the 4th of May provided a brief sense of unity for many Latvian citizens. Most politicians, however, didn’t experience anything like that. The reason for that is simple. The specter of parliamentary elections is haunting Latvia.
