THREE years ago the first issue of Finland's first English-language newspaper hit the newsstands. 148 issues later the Helsinki Times is embarking on its third year.
The front page of issue 1 included stories on Estonia's Red Army statue controversy, Eurovision in Helsinki and Nokia Siemens Networks cutting its workforce. The first editorial was by the last leader of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev.
