Confidence in Finland's PM Vanhanen dwindles -poll

Finns have less confidence than before in Matti Vanhanen (centre), Finland's prime minister, suggests a poll published by provincial daily Kaleva on Friday.

According to the poll Mr Vanhanen's confidence rating was at its lowest ebb since he became prime minister.

Only one in four respondents were satisfied with their prime minister, down from one in three in a similar poll last October.

Almost half the respondents were unhappy with Mr Vanhanen.
