Finnish police investigate PM's campaign support group -paper

Finnish national daily Helsingin Sanomat reported on Wednesday that the police have extended their inquiries on the Centre Party's campaign financing to include the presidential elections.

According to the daily, the National Bureau of Investigation (KRP) suspects the campaign team of Matti Vanhanen (centre), Finland's prime minister, of having misused their positions of trust during the 2006 presidential elections.
