Finnish airports to remain closed until Sunday afternoon -Finavia

All of Finland's airports are to remain closed at least until 3 pm Sunday, the Finnish aviation authority Finavia said Friday.

Airlines asked passengers not to go to the airports, but to keep an eye on the latest information released by their airlines.

The closure of Finland's airspace was continued for an extra day as more volcanic ash originating from Iceland is expected to spread above Finland on Saturday.
