Finland's EK says stevedore strike would halt most foreign trade

Finland's impending nationwide stevedore strike would bring most of the country's foreign trade to a halt, Raimo Mansukoski, a logistics expert at the Finnish Confederation of Industries (EK) said Monday.

The Transport Workers' Union has issued a stevedore strike notice for 6am Thursday.

"The effects will be sizeable," Mr Mansukoski told the Finnish News Agency (STT).
