A row has broken out at Opole University over a proposal to award the film director Krzysztof Zanussi an honorary doctorate following his controversial comments on the Roman Polanski paedophilia case. A small group of students and people connected with the anti-communist underground protested outside the meeting discussing the proposal. "We don't want our school to honour a man who is guilty of moral relativism. In supporting Polanski, Zanussi doesn't deserve such an honour," Michal Kleszcz, a student of political science, told reporters from Gazeta Opole....  Full story...
