Information that came to light one month ago has been confirmed that a piano belonging the Jagiellonian University was played on by Chopin – the second that the university owns. For a long time the university has displayed one piano which was actually owned by the piano virtuoso and genius composer, now they have uncovered evidence indicating that the Pleyel piano in their Museum was bought by Chopin, as representative in Poland for the manufacturer, for a local Countess – receiving a commission for the sale of 200 francs....  Full story...
