Meditating on Lithuania's re-birthday

On Feb. 16, Lithuania will celebrate its main annual national holiday. On that day in 1918, the Lithuanian Council gathered in Lithuania’s historical capital Vilnius and passed the resolution for the re-establishment of the independent state of Lithuania. However, there is another state holiday which is coming soon and which is unfortunately in the shadow of Feb. 16. This is March 11.
