Don't forget to set your clock back

Onthe night of the 25. of October [Sunday], at 4 am, Latvia, Lithuaniaand Estonia ends the period of Daylight Saving Time, as informed bythe Ministry of Economics.

Therefore,the clock should be set back one hour. The transition is carried outin 110 countries all over the world. For the first time hand of theclock was set back in 1908 in Great Britain.

InLatvia the the transition to Daylight saving time and back wasinducted in 1981.

Thescientific research shows, that the Daylight Time transition lowersthe amount of the consumed energy, decreases road traffic accidentrate and crime rate, still it has a negative effect on man'sbiological rhythm.
