The band Atlas comes out of Estonia, playing Caucasian, mainly Armenian, folk tunes as well as performing Turkish songs and traditional dances, with inspiration coming from early occidental and pop music. The band was founded by Brigitta Davidjants in 2003 and soon started an active participation in the life of Estonian musical society. Atlas is going to participate in the upcoming XVII Viljandi Folk Music Festival from July 23 - 26.
