Referring to a TBT interview with Mats Staffansson, Swedish Ambassador to Latvia published about a month ago. His Excellence said that Swedish banks in Latvia have been operating in the legal framework of Latvian legislation, not violating local laws. In an interview with Diena, the Ambassador said that the Baltics are the backyard of Scandinavia and integral part of their market.
