The Tallinn court that tried 70-year-old defendant Mart Ringmaa on charges of staging 12 explosions in the Estonian capital over a period of more than six years, sentenced the man to 15 years in prison on March 23. The Harju Country Court found Ringmaa's guilt to be proven only in two episodes and acquitted him in ten of the episodes described in the indictment. The explosions that Ringmaa was accused of staging killed seven people and caused injuries to six.
