You know it's spring when the feral cats of Vilnius lie sprawled on concrete steps, soaking up the sun and preening, picking the build-up of winter muck out of their scraggly coats. Like them, there's not much I can do to improve my lot amid this biting downswing, which is why it only seems to make sense to follow Monty Python's cliche of looking on the bright side of life.
