From defense force officer to qualified bob-sled pilot, Australian-born businessman Dean Strautins has lived a colorful life. A need to reconnect with his roots lead him to seek out a new life in Latvia where he now runs several guesthouses geared toward the foreign tourist market and is founding director of the Australian Chamber of Commerce.
