Vilja Savisaar is the chairwoman of the Estonian Center Party, one of the leading opposition parties. The Center Party has recently become one of the most outspoken critics of Social Affairs Minister Maret Maripuu over the problems the country is experiencing in making disability payments (see story Page 2).
