So Poff is the biggest film festival in Northern Europe. Though waiting for a performance to start makes you wonder if foreigners are appreciated in the audience. This afternoon a lady giving a lengthy introduction in Estonian said she recognized very few foreign faces amongst the spectators and that was why she was not speaking English. That makes you wonder how anyone can distinguish non-Estonian speakers from Estonian speakers. And aren't we "real" foreigners lucky that we get a program in English and English subtitles?
