Why should it be a surprise that aliens have taken up the Russian offer of full citizenship? Can anyone tell me when these aliens were ever treated any other way than aliens? Even the word alien sticks in my throat. Obama's family tree, which starts in Africa with a black father and white mother would in Estonia classify him as an alien. I can't think why these aliens feel more Russian than Estonian.
