One of the biggest challenges the region faces is how to manage the population. The issue comes up in one form or another in many of the stories that we run in this newspaper. It is also covered in the native language media.The problem boils down to one thing. There just aren't enough people. Think tanks and governments both say there are too few clever or skilled people and that we need more young and children. The latest information, as we report in this week's issue, is that there aren't enough men in Vilnius. It seems that an epidemic of suicides and reckless living has killed off...
