Shalom from London, whatever the reason for the Irish rejection of the Lisbon treaty, perhaps it's time for member states of the EU to recognize, that the Baltic states and others from the former Soviet Union require a true partnership with the EU. They have got a lot of catching up to do, and will need at least 20 billion euros per country spent over the next few decades to fulfill the conditions of membership. I'm an English Jew, with Latvian, Irish, and U.S. family. Many people hope for a Yes vote, to get the treaty on track, and signal a safe return to the "western world" for the Baltic states and others. Have a good 4th of July, best wishes,
