HIIUMAA - There was a time when life on the Island of Hiiumaa revolved around fishing. It not only provided a livelihood for inhabitants of the island but also basic sustenance. Maris Ounapuu, the daughter of a fisherman and now a tourism expert, describes the importance of the trade to her family."The sea was like God.
