The nation is to thank Denmark for its support in the independence struggle by holding two concerts in Copenhagen. These musical gifts are bestowed on those  countries who have played a special part in the  independance struggle, namely Denmark, Iceland, Finland, Sweden and Great Britain. The concert called  "Spells for Denmark" is composed  by Urmas Sisask will take place at Copenhagen's Royal Library Hall on March 27. On March 28 the national male choir will perform an a capella concert. This  February the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir presented Tonu Korvits' piece "Three songs of Iceland."  based on  Icelandic stories.

Environment minister, Jaanus Tamkivi, has backed the proposal that the  state forest management center to take over Elistvere Animal Park. The minister believes  managing changeover to the state would provide certainty that it's managed  stably and on a strong basis. So far MTU forest union has taken care of financing the animal park. In 10 years Elistvere animal park has grown bigger and more popular as have operational actions, but taking care of the park is not even in the statutes of the  forest union. The state forest management center has made the  suggestion to hand over  administration of  the animal park to them. The forest union is still to make a firm decision but it hopes to by March 28.
