CRAPPY STREETS

I recently moved to Riga from Sydney Australia. Going to work in Australia is a case of "spot the road kill," here in Riga, "Spot the dog poop." I am finding it increasingly difficult to keep avoiding the stuff, no wonder it is common practice to take your shoes off indoors, who wants dog poop in your lounge room. How about the upstarts get fined for not picking up after their pathetic, whining little well dressed mutts. Another peeve I have is that the stuff gets frozen when it snows and is not a very pleasant site when it thaws. Last year I read Riga was ranked one of the cleanest European cities and I think that is pure sh**.
