DEFENDING THE FINNS

  • 2008-01-30
In Estonia, when you are talking about drunk people, there is always someone who will associate them with the adjective "Finnish." Finnish people are famous for coming to Tallinn to buy food and alcoholic drinks at a good price.

Anyway, the streets of Tallinn are visited by drunk singing people of every nationality: Estonian and Russian included. Moreover, Finnish tourists are slightly decreasing in Tallinn: the shopping is not so cheap as before.
So, defending Finland, this bad reputation should be over and even it should have never existed, I believe. Drunk people in Tallinn are not only Finnish ones, and not every Finn is drunk.
P.S.: I am not Finnish!
