Georgia's presidential elections on Jan. 5 demonstrated that Georgia really has a clear determination to return to the path of democracy. After violent clashes between opposition and riot police, which were followed by declaration of emergency rule, a lot of people were sure that the story of democracy had ended in Georgia. Georgians have proved all such theories wrong. First, the president decided to solve the crises by political means 's to resign and call new elections. The state of emergency was ended and freedom of media restored.And what is most important: Georgia's governing coal...
