Santa Claus is one of the most recognizable symbols of Christmas. While in many Western countries jolly old St. Nick is reputed to live at the North Pole, Finland has the most famous claim to his home. What most people don't realize is that the Baltics each have their own distinct versions of Santa Claus 's along with a host of other uniquely Baltic Yule-time traditions.
