The last of three Estonian soldiers treated in England for injuries sustained in a missile attack in Afghanistan has returned home. The soldier will continue treatment in Estonia. Two soldiers were killed and four injured during the attack in June.    

Dolphins have been sighted far into the Baltic Sea for the first time in years. The crew of a German patrol boat photographed two dolphins in the southern reaches of the sea on Sept. 27. Scientists said it might be a symptom of global warming.

The infamous K-kohuke election advertisement scandal has ended without convictions. The Harju County Court terminated the case, which was launched after potentially illegal advertisements appeared during local elections in 2005. The court noted the case against two companies was terminated due to technicalities, rather than the innocence of the accused.
