KEEP THE DIACRITICAL MARKS

I would like to make a suggestion to The Baltic Times.
I noticed that both in its newspaper and Web site The Baltic Times never writes Baltic names or titles in their original form, that is, with accent signs such as "birds," "dots," "dashes," etc. This is really sad because it subtracts the flavor of the Baltic peoples, and in my opinion, misses a good chance to better introduce foreign readers to the Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian languages that they are going to face in these countries.
As an opposite example, Lithuania in the World www.liw.lt could be mentioned 's they always write uncorrupted names and titles. These days technology allows (even more,  helps) tackle such issues, and there is no problem at all in preserving the original script in media. As The Baltic Times is one of the representatives of our three countries, I would suggest you to consider writing Baltic names and titles in their original way. I think, that would in no way discourage anybody, just increase the profile of the paper and the countries.
