I see no reason whatsoever to support Estonia or Russia in the issue of the Bronze Soldier. In fact, both countries should be [forcefully] criticized - Estonia for an unnecessary and provocative decision and Russia for too harsh a reaction. Both countries need to learn to respect each other and the sooner they do that, the best for all.
It is with dismay that I see politicians in both countries using certain sensibilities to pursue their own interests.
They should instead focus on the long-term interests of their countries and that passes through good relations.
