  • TIME TO GROW UP
Former Chancellor of Germany, Gerhard Schroeder, says that removal of the Bronze Soldier in Tallinn shows "bad taste and disrespect" to the Russians who fought against Fascism during World War II. It is easy for him to now be politically correct...Was it not more disrespectful during that time when the Russians killed or sent hundreds of thousands of Balts to Siberia? There's lots of bad taste to go around... including the bluster in Moscow. Time for everyone to grow up and focus on the issues that are truly important in the world. The statue wasn't demolished, only relocated to an appropriate place where one can continue to pay his respects.
