Regarding the story "Latvia condemns statements questioning the history of the Holocaust;" I find this ironic given that earlier this summer, Riga authorities banned a gay parade, yet participants were nevertheless brutalised without police assistance. What's more, the government has seen fit to appoint a homophobe as its human rights commissioner. Latvia is hardly in a position to behave holier-than-thou.
