For the first time in Latvia's post-Soviet history, a ruling government has been re-elected to power. Since the center-right ruling coalition of the People's Party, the Greens and Farmers Union and Latvia's First Party/Latvia's Way won a second term on Oct. 7, the search for a fourth member to boost the coalition's slim majority of 51 mandates has begun.
