Kestutis Dauksys headed Lithuania's Economy Ministry during what was arguably its most challenging period in the last 15 years. Strategic ownership of the nation's largest corporation 's Mazeikiu Nafta 's was changing hands, while the ministry spearheaded a government effort to reach a pan-Baltic consensus on building a new nuclear power plant in Lithuania.
