Internet banking strong as ever

TALLINN - At the end of June the five largest commercial banks had 1,272,350 Internet banking and 207,713 telephone service clients.

The largest Internet bank by user numbers, Hansapank's Hanza.net, had 680,790 clients at the end of last month, or 3,267 more than in May. The bank's telephone service had 26,017 users.
Uhispank's online banking services, U-Net and U-Net Business, had 431,785 customers, up by 3,869 from May. Users of the bank's telephone service numbered 6,365 of whom three joined it during the month. The number of users of the mobile phone service grew by 1,646 to a total of 47,177.

The number of users of Sampo Pank's Internet service increased by 3,253 to total 119,124 at the end of June. The bank's telephone service had at the end of last month 102,626 users, 3,184 more than a month earlier.
Clients of Nordea Bank's Solo Internet service numbered 25,528, an increase of 465 over the preceding month.
Krediidipank's online bank had 15,123 users at the end of June. o
