The recent death of Timothy Harper, an ex-pat Englishman murdered in Riga around the 14th of June, has received little or no interest from the Latvian press. Why is that, and why are the Latvian police reluctant to release real believable details in full, instead of some half-believable story about a 24-year-old woman who it appears did this for the purpose of theft? There are many aspects that don't add up, and therefore threaten to cause discomfort and mistrust over the details released.
