RIGA (BNS) - Over 40 percent of Latvian residents do not believe that the government headed by Prime Minister Andris Skele will survive until the parliamentary elections scheduled for the year 2002.According to a public opinion poll conducted by the SKDS market and social research company, 30.7 percent of Latvians think Skele's government will last until the next elections, while another 29 percent were undecided or did not respond.Out of those questioned, ethnic Latvians had greater trust in the government's chances of survival (34.5 percent).
