Days after figure skater Michelle Kwan bowed out of the Games due to an injury, she also turned down a job in NBC's broadcast booth. The American broadcaster hoped Kwan would draw viewers, but she turned the offer down, saying she didn't want to distract remaining members of the U.S. Olympic figure skating team.
