Niam to invest large sums

VILNIUS - Niam Fund III, the leading Nordic assets manager, said it would invest over 200 million euros into the Baltics' real estate market during the next several years.

"We have been gathering information about this market for a number of years, and we consider Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia a part of our common market," said Per Johannesson, Niam's executive partner. Niam has acquired the logistics center Rimi in Riga through a subsidiary. Other investments will follow in Lithuania and Estonia, the company announced.
