Baltic universities build on EuroFaculty's foundations

After almost 13 years of operation, the EuroFaculty program in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania was officially closed on June 30, 2005. EuroFaculty was one of the most important programs initiated in the three Baltic states after the restoration of their independence. Building on the experiences gained from the EuroFaculty program, the three countries are now planning to continue modernization of their universities under a concept called "EuroBaltic Centers of Excellence."
