I agree that the current situation in Belarus is unacceptable, but I feel once again that the opinion of an American carries far too much weight and, in fact, distorts the truth and also ignores a very fragile political situation.Sometimes appeasement is a necessary way to deal with a political regime that we (in the West) don't like.
