Rowdy Russian fans push the limit

RIGA - The Latvian Football Federation has considered reporting Russian fans' unruly behavior during last weekend's St. Petersburg games to the UEFA, the governing body of European football. LFF spokesman Krisjanis Klavins said that, during both the junior and national games, Russian fans had been openly hostile to Latvians. Their aggression was especially evident during the junior match, in which Russian spectators wearing Soviet symbols heckled Latvia's U-21 team, calling them "fascists" and "nazis."
