VILNIUS - SEB VB Investiciju Valdymas, an assets management subsidiary of SEB Vilniaus Bankas, is setting up its first three investment funds NVS Obligaciju Fondas (CIS Bond Fund), NVS Akciju Fondas (CIS Stock Fund) and Pasaulio Rinku Fondu Fondas (Fund of Global Markets Fund).
The Securities Commission registered the regulations and prospectuses on May 12, the first mutual fund units should be offered to investors in late May.
Monetary resources of the first two funds will be invested into debt securities or stocks in CIS states.
SEB Vilniaus Bankas, Lithuania's largest commercial bank, has a family of 13 mutual funds. As of Apr. 30, 2005, the total value of SEB mutual fund units distributed totaled 56.7 million litas (16.4 million euros).
