Beautiful game

First of all I would like to congratulate you on your paper. I have been active working on regional development projects in the Baltic states for a number of years and in this role have to visit the Baltic's regularly. In between our company is based in Brussels and I find The Baltic Times is an excellent way of keeping up to date with what is going on. The news and articles in the paper are invaluable to me and have helped me get to know and understand the Baltic's a little more. The coverage of such issues like the May "celebrations" in Moscow and Russian - Baltic relations in general are excellent.

But 's and there is always a but 's please find a sports writer who knows something about football, as in soccer, rather than the American version. Whoever does the reports on big football matches obviously has no understanding of the game and the terminology used makes this obvious. The terminology is totally Americanized and comes straight from that stupid game that they call football! The report of the recent Estonia versus Russia match was a classic example. I have not laughed as much in a long time! But seriously as a football mad Englishman it is irritating to try read and more to the point I usually find I have no idea what the reporter is talking about!

So in general 9 out of 10 for The Baltic Times, but please get a football reporter who knows something about the game.
